Christian Healthy Living for Woman-new blog!

Please visit my new Womans Healthy Living Blog:

i've lost 6 lbs! just updated 8/24/15
it's been over one month since i seen a dr for my terrible back pain and left with 2 prescription recommendations.
at first i took them but the side effects made me come to a very important life decision and that's to make changes.
i started eating 80% whole and raw foods gradually over the last month, stepped away from the artificial sweeteners and diet sodas and painfully n slowly started working out my neck, back, and core and the improvements are not only the weight loss but the pain has decreased drastically from my neck, back n shoulders and i've only needed pain medicine a few times and I know that this is just the beginning to taking back my health after a period of post-partam depression, lack of energy, and stress of being a sahm.(stay at home mom)
i'm conquering my giants and so can you if you have any of the same struggles, you can do it!
it felt great to go down a pant size, but most importantly to me is I know that I will be a better wife and mom when I am at my healthiest!
Praise the Lord!!
If you can relate and need some motivation or encouragement feel free to pm me and i'd be happy to give you any resources that are helping me.
#1 for me is to honor God with my life by reading the bible each morning that keeps my heart and mind in the right place to start my day of conquering giants of laziness, overwhelming stress n anxiety from the children, pain and lack of motivation.
I can do all things through Christ who is my strength!
Philippians 4:13

Today's Words of Encouragement

"A bribe is like a lucky charm, whoever gives one will prosper."
Proverbs 17:8

You could choose to rely on luck and bribes to prosper, but that only leads to moral corruption of your heart and soul. Luck is only chance, Faith, Hope, and Love those are a firm and solid foundation; that comes from the Promises of God through, Christ Jesus.

I'm taking my chances in the one who opened my eyes, to a better life and in Him I will succeed and continue to prosper!
thank you Lord!

Weekend Encouragement

"There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." He who fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be a refuge. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, turning a man from the snares of death."  Proverbs 14:12,26-27

In the Bible when it says the fear of the Lord or fears the Lord it is talking about respect, honor, and reverance these words are linked to an employee for a boss or a son for his dad or a daughter for her mom but this is the highest form of humility because it takes lowering ourselves, our wants, our desires and our self to see a bigger picture one created by the creator, Abba Father God, the Great I AM, who was and is, and is to come. I pray that for me and for you we can put #1 fear of God so our choices will be pleasing to Him and will be His very bests for our lives. I love Him because He first loved me, thank you Lord! Have a blessed weekend friends!

Today's Smoothie: Rasberry Lemon Delicious!

This smoothie is so, so good I just had to share it today! I have to admit blending new and delicious smoothies is an enjoyable new hobby of mine. Today I experimented with an avocado ingredient as I seen a youtube video where she used a whole avocado in her breakfast smoothie. here's the inspiration for my superfood smoothie for today in the above video and it's the first smoothie recipe.

so for my Rasberry Lemon Smoothie here's what you will need

1/2 cup of frozen rasberries
frozen 1/4 avocado (pre-frozen and chopped)(can't taste adds nutrition n thickens)
a handful of frozen or fresh chopped kale (stem removed only leaves)(superfood)
1 slice of frozen lemon including the outer peel (seed removed)
1/4 or less frozen banana slices
1/4 cup milk or soy milk
1/2 cup of water or more depending on how thick you want it the avocado really thickens this smoothie
i also added an ice cube just for more texture
blend, blend, blend really well

this is a really flavorful, and super healthy for energy and fat burning, nutrient rich smoothie. Please share your pictures if you tried this!
have a blessed day! Living Healthy n Praising God!

you chop the apple around the core and include the peel put in your food processor,
chop the strawberries in slices, tear the greens like kale n spinach in small pieces add to the processor,

Our Journey: One Chapter at a Time

We each have unique stories of how we came to know Christ as our Saviour this is called our testimony and we are called to share our story and testify and that's exactly what I'm going to do. as I never know who might be new and browsing my page and who needs to hear my story.  If you study the scripture you can get a unique portfolio of the different people who made history and who wrote parts of the bible. Paul is the one I was reading about I just started at Acts 27 on this occasion and was fascinated as I hadn't read these chapters in awhile I read through Acts 28 and then into Romans 1 it made such a difference reading a couple of chapters before Romans before starting in Romans. We have unique chapters to our testimony and each time we share our story we might start at a different chapter depending on who we are sharing with or how the Spirit is leading us.
I have come to a chapter in my life of being aware that I need to grow in maturity and seeking God's guidance in that area. I am a wife and a mom of 2 toddler boys who are 3 1/2 and 5 but I wasn't always these roles before this I was a drug addicted lost young woman who made some bad choices and in my lowest and darkest time I found hope in my hero and saviour Jesus Christ after a dear sweet woman shared with me her faith in Him. I had always believed in a Spirit a God but never knew him as Father God, Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I was given an amazing chance at a new life and a clean new heart with new interests and desires I prayed to find a good husband who loved God and who would not yell at me or abuse me or cheat on me and he would be kind and forgiving and that my friends perfectly describes my husband of 5 1/2 years Mr. Joseph Fincher.
I had planned on going back to college and earning my degree in business administration or management but I struggled at 5 months pregnant with our first child and have tried to go back two times after with no success. I am a full-time stay at home mom who has a serious thirst for continued education as I'm always learning and increasing my knowledge which I use for daily living. I have learned how to create a budget, how to live debt-free (which we are in the beginning process of doing), how to shop at yard sales n thrift stores, grocery shopping with a budget, healthy eating and working out to tone and strengthen my body (just started this as i was having bad back pain). Their's nothing too big for God and so I always pray, seek His wisdom and read His word for knowledge and truth.
I am proud of the life that I live today and my greatest success is a work in progress: raising my sons to be good men who do what's right and are not afraid to work hard and staying married to my husband until death do we part. I know these are very simple aspirations but that's all I need in this life to be satisfied and content.
I hope this has encouraged someone today and I would love to hear your story or a chapter of it too!

God is Not a Fairy

"13 Be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. 14 And do everything with love." 1 Corinthians 16
"Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect." Romans 12:2

If you are a God fearing Believer/ Christian than please think before you repost you are not being nice or cute reposting things that say"if you do this God will do this and if not then ur not my friend..." this is NOT how God works and if He is your God than you should know better, He isn't a fairy stop mocking Him! This is posted with love  as a concerned Sister of the faith and we are to hold each other accountable.

Only One Gospel

"Dear brothers and sisters, I want you to understand that the gospel message I preach is not based on mere human reasoning. I received my message from no human source, and no one taught me. Instead, I received it by direct revelation from Jesus Christ." Galatians 1:12

this is true for my faith in Jesus it didn't come from a human teacher but from a direct and personal encounter with Christ so nothing or nobody can convince me that Jesus isn't God and isn't real my life is a witness to how real He is and the change He made on my heart is real. If me saying this offends you than please unfriend me I'm not trying to be popular on here just share some truth and some encouragement.

"obviously, i'm not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ's servant." Galatians 1:10 my thoughts exactly! stand strong in your faith and do not conform to the images or patterns of this World- Be bold and be brave for Christ!
