Our Journey: One Chapter at a Time

We each have unique stories of how we came to know Christ as our Saviour this is called our testimony and we are called to share our story and testify and that's exactly what I'm going to do. as I never know who might be new and browsing my page and who needs to hear my story.  If you study the scripture you can get a unique portfolio of the different people who made history and who wrote parts of the bible. Paul is the one I was reading about I just started at Acts 27 on this occasion and was fascinated as I hadn't read these chapters in awhile I read through Acts 28 and then into Romans 1 it made such a difference reading a couple of chapters before Romans before starting in Romans. We have unique chapters to our testimony and each time we share our story we might start at a different chapter depending on who we are sharing with or how the Spirit is leading us.
I have come to a chapter in my life of being aware that I need to grow in maturity and seeking God's guidance in that area. I am a wife and a mom of 2 toddler boys who are 3 1/2 and 5 but I wasn't always these roles before this I was a drug addicted lost young woman who made some bad choices and in my lowest and darkest time I found hope in my hero and saviour Jesus Christ after a dear sweet woman shared with me her faith in Him. I had always believed in a Spirit a God but never knew him as Father God, Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I was given an amazing chance at a new life and a clean new heart with new interests and desires I prayed to find a good husband who loved God and who would not yell at me or abuse me or cheat on me and he would be kind and forgiving and that my friends perfectly describes my husband of 5 1/2 years Mr. Joseph Fincher.
I had planned on going back to college and earning my degree in business administration or management but I struggled at 5 months pregnant with our first child and have tried to go back two times after with no success. I am a full-time stay at home mom who has a serious thirst for continued education as I'm always learning and increasing my knowledge which I use for daily living. I have learned how to create a budget, how to live debt-free (which we are in the beginning process of doing), how to shop at yard sales n thrift stores, grocery shopping with a budget, healthy eating and working out to tone and strengthen my body (just started this as i was having bad back pain). Their's nothing too big for God and so I always pray, seek His wisdom and read His word for knowledge and truth.
I am proud of the life that I live today and my greatest success is a work in progress: raising my sons to be good men who do what's right and are not afraid to work hard and staying married to my husband until death do we part. I know these are very simple aspirations but that's all I need in this life to be satisfied and content.
I hope this has encouraged someone today and I would love to hear your story or a chapter of it too!
