Yes Jesus Can Set You Free!
The Temptation of Jesus 4 sAnd Jesus, tfull of the Holy Spirit, ureturned from the Jordan and was led vby the Spirit in the wilderness 2 for wforty days, xbeing tempted by the devil. wAnd he ate nothing during those days. And when they were ended, yhe was hungry. 3 The devil said to him, “If you are zthe Son of God, command athis stone to become bread.” 4 And Jesus answered him, b“It is written, c‘Man shall not live by bread alone.’ ” 5 dAnd the devil took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time, 6 and said to him, “To you eI will give all this authority and their glory, efor it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whom I will. 7 If you, then, will worship me, it will all be yours.” Luke 4:1-7
“And he took him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the temple and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here, 10 for it is written,“ ‘He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you,’1 and “ ‘On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.’ ”
12 And Jesus answered him, “It is said, l‘You shall not mput the Lord your God to the test.’ ” 13 And when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from him nuntil an opportune time.” Luke 4:9-13
Even Jesus was tested by the devil; this was right before he started his ministry on earth and right after this he was rejected by his own people. So please take a reality check before you get out and I never hear from you again or I do when you're back in prison. For you that think I don’t remember what it’s like in prison, because it’s been 7 years since i’ve been in there; you couldn’t be further from the truth. I carry that remembrance, so I can be relevant as a prison minister. It’s a gift and a burden from the Lord. I remember, clearly the temptations I faced when I got out and how I fell hard and painfully and I had to fight, fight, fight my way to solid and safe ground.
Soldier be prepared because this world is getting darker, it’s getting colder, and it’s filled with all your favorite temptations and they are just waiting for you!!! I may very well be the only one to send you this WAKE-UP call and I hope that it is received by a few and helps save a few from utter and total failure and destruction when they get out. I want hear from 99% of you when you get out and so I want to urgently speak to you now that I have your attention because I care and I have been there in that cold, hard, stainless steal and white adorned cell, with thin plastic mattresses and the desire to be touched, to be loved, to feel human companionship.
You wait in there, you rot in there and then you get the answer you’ve been waiting for parole and what happens next…...most will not survive the hard cruelty of this world with it’s condemnation, back ground checks, confrontation on your criminal records. This is why I say Be Prepared! Don’t wing it saints, don’t fake it, don’t pretend to not care but deep down be overwhelmed with fear and doubt of what if. Confront the reality of your situation and get ready to the best of your ability and when you get out if you are in there for anger related charges get counseling for that, if it was for drug n alcohol abuse get help for that, just because you are clean in there doesnt mean you are free you just dont have it available. How are you going to handle it being readily available when you get out???!!! Don’t lie to yourself. We all need some help. Plan on getting the help and support system you need. I went to AA and Celebrate Recovery, I had to confront so many dark sins and battle them from within; it’s exhausting but the battle is real. Are you ready for the battle? Keep training for our enemy doesn’t sleep. Keep your light shining and preparing yourselves each day.
Have I conquered all my sins? NO! I will not tell you that because it would be a big fat lie. I don’t think I will every be a pure white saint, lol. Right now the battle is over using cc to buy stuff, i’ve had to hand them over to my husband who is my accountability partner and biggest support system several times in addition to cutting them up several times. Logically you’d think I could just stop but it’s not a logical battle, it’s emotional, spiritual and only God knows what else. My husband and me both battle with many things personally and as parents and in our marriage relationship. We haven’t arrived and if any one claims to have run away, quick because that’s a lie. If anyone says that theres more than one way to heaven or that Jesus isn’t God-flee away fast, the devil is a liar! The only book I want to be in and be inspired by is the Bible I rarely spend more than 5% of my time reading in any other book because the meat is in the Bible-the Truth and the Word-our Spiritual, Soul Food is in the Bible alone. You dont really need any other book to learn and grow as Children of God. You can read other books but always put the Book #1. If you don’t need it every day then you aren’t putting God first because when you do you will literally crave that time with God and still fill hungry for more. I can never get my fill of the Holy Bible.
