Pride n Humility

12 A proud person will soon be ruined, but a humble person will be honored.” Proverbs 18:12 ERV

There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.” Proverbs 14:12 NLT

GOD'S WORD® Translation
Don't become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants-what is good, pleasing, and perfect.

Weymouth New Testament
And do not follow the customs of the present age, but be transformed by the entire renewal of your minds, so that you may learn by experience what God's will is--that will which is good and beautiful and perfect.
Especially during the holidays with the customary traditions around Christmas alot of Christians forget this instructions and go along with the "holiday cheer" of buying gifts, taking pictures with santa claus, and even telling their children santa claus is going to buy them gifts.
I'm taking Gods Word into action and not following along with the people and customs of this world. Christmas in my home is to honor, teach, and celebrate Christs birth and that is it.
